Greek snack Tzatziki


Greek tzatziki, traditionally served as an aperitif, you can leave it on the table as an accompaniment to other foods during the meal. The secret to the best tzatziki is its thick creamy texture that allows you to enjoy it alone, as a dip, spread or as a condiment.



1 tbsp. olive oil

2 teaspoons of lemon juice

1 lb. 1 oz. (480 ml) thick Greek yogurt

4-10 cloves of garlic (to taste), finely chopped

1 cucumber, peeled and diced or coarsely grated

Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish


Put the olive oil and lemon juice in a bowl and mix it up with the whip. Mix the yogurt to the mixture is homogeneous, making sure it is well blended.

Add garlic, depending on your taste, and the cucumber. Stir until you get a uniform mixture.

Garnish with a little 'chopped parsley. Serve cold.
