Pasta with chicken

The Koazy al-macarona is a very popular dish of Middle Eastern cuisine, and you can enjoy, with its strange combination of ingredients, in many Middle Eastern countries. The recipe is very simple and the result really delicious.

4 tablespoons canola oil

2 small chickens, cut into quarters, skin removed

4 oz (125 g) white yogurt,

3 cinnamon sticks

1 tablespoon ground cumin

1 tablespoon ground black pepper

6 fresh tomatoes, peeled, seeded and past

2 onions, chopped, salt,

1lb (400 grams) spaghetti,

3 hard boiled eggs, shelled and chopped

Heat half the oil in a large pan and fry the chickens for about 5 minutes, turning to brown both sides.

Add yogurt, half the cinnamon, cumin and pepper and, finally, the tomatoes. Stir and cook the chicken with the lid, for about 15 minutes. Drop your cinnamon sticks.

Pour the remaining oil in another pan; add the onion, salt and cinnamon advanced cumin and pepper.

Stir and fry until the onion is cooked up. Boil a pot of salted water, break the spaghetti in half and cook them.

Drain the spaghetti, add the onion and pour them on a serving dish. Lie down over the chicken and pour the sauce.

Decorated with eggs and serve.
