Swordfish in Tomato Sauce


Swordfish has a very firm and fine meat, suitable for cooking in all possible ways. The meat does not fall apart, therefore swordfish an excellent grill fish. The taste is mild and slightly sweet, chops taste best when not cooked too hard.


Swordfish in Tomato Sauce


4 slices of swordfish

1 large onion

½ stalk celery

50 gr black olives

30 g capers

Tomato sauce

Olive oil

Salt and pepper


In olive oil handled the finely chopped onion and chopped celery. Add half capers and black olives shared with your fingers. After a few minutes, add a few cups.

Tomato Sauce

Let it all together for a few minutes and add the fish, salt and pepper, add water so the fish almost covered simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes.

The fish can be turned one time, but you risk destroying it if it is a great piece. Does not turn the fish and then cook the fish with the lid on, so it is steamed properly.

This right is traditionally served with boiled potatoes and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
